- Student-grade watercolor paints
- Ultramarine Blue
- Mauve
- CAD Yellow Deep Hue
- Viridian
- Fluid Watercolor paper (140 lb cold press)
- Waterproof black ink pens (Charsoco)
- Brushes: round #6, #8, fine liner #1
- Watercolor palettes
- Paper towels, water cups
- Ball point pen
- Washi Tape
- Graphite Stick

Basic Steps
- Transfer your image: Choose your subject — sea turtle or cuttlefish — and color the back of the paper with a graphite stick. Center and tape onto your watercolor paper. With your ballpoint pen, begin tracing the outline of your image.
- Apply Watercolor Layers: Build transparent washes from light to dark to capture form and movement.
- Dry Thoroughly: Allow the paper to dry completely before inking.
- Add Ink Details: Outline key shapes, textures, and patterns using waterproof pens to enhance contrast and definition.

Final Touches: Lift highlights, deepen shadows, and add small details for a polished finish.
